West Cork is one of those rare places where the landscape itself feels like a healing force. At the start of summer, the rugged coastline comes alive. Wild, breathtaking, and bathed in long, bright days that seem to open something in you. The sun lingers late into the evening, lighting up cliffs, coves, and rolling hills in a way that makes every moment feel expansive and full of possibility.

Two Morning pilates classes to start your day, afternoons strolling down country lanes to the local swimming spots, reading and resting in sun filled terraces and cosy couches. fueling up with nourishing brightly plated lunches, evening Yin and Restorative Yoga sessions to settle and soothe the body and mind, dinners that are generous and nightly bonfires to roast marshmallows and toast in the summer months.

Here, nature becomes the true star of the retreat. The fresh Atlantic air, the rhythm of the waves, the softness of the light, and the quiet strength of the land all create the perfect environment for slowing down, breathing deeply, and reconnecting with yourself. It’s a place where simply being outside feels restorative. Ocean view House Glandore is a complete heaven,nestled just around the corner of Glandore Village. Lots of space to socialise in and outdoors as well as private nooks to rest and read.This retreat is an intimate retreat, all rooms are ensuite and designed to be shared with close friends or family.

Led by experienced instructor Hannah qualified in numerous somatic practices with over ten years experience of leading groups and holding and creating safe and uplifting spaces. Always meeting you where you are, never pushing or hurrying.There to remind you to listen to yourself, your mind, body and soul.

Bíog retreats prioritises comfort, safety, and respect. All activities are completely optional so you can show up when it suits you, ready to go at your pace. The house is centrally located in Glandore Village so you have the freedom to explore around small coves, piers and shops.

Weekend Plan

  • Check in from 4pm. Arrive settle and relax, explore the house, grounds and village.

    Our first Yin and Restorative session will begin at 17:30

    Dinner is at 19:00

    Bealtainne Bonfire at 20:30

  • Morning Pilates starts at 8:30am followed by breakfast at 9:30am

    Time to go for a dip in the coves or piers, optional outing to Drombeg Stone Circle or use the in house infrared sauna.

    Lunch is at 13:00

    Relax in the sun on the terrace or curl up on a couch to read before our Yin and Restorative Yoga session at 17:00

    Dinner is at 19:00

    Optional stroll to the village to get a drink at 20:30

  • Morning Pilates full of stretch and release at 8:30am

    Breakfast at 9:30am

    Time for one last sea swim before we say our goodbyes to check out at 11am

What’s Included

  • Booking is easy. Fill out the booking request form with your preferred room type . I will then get in touch with room availability , terms and conditions of the retreat and payment links.

  • Once you are booked you will soon receive a welcome packet in how to prepare and the best travel routes.

  • You will have the option to get on a What’s App group so you can get to know other retreat guests and the possibility of car pooling.

Bia Blasta

Meals throughout the weekend are thoughtfully crafted to support your practice, energise your body, and celebrate the new Irish seasonal Summer produce. Foods and ingredients will be sourced from Pop Crowley’s of Macroom, a deli and artisnal food grocers specialising in Irish, whole, Organic and sustainably produced foods. My amazing Mom and Brother of Pop Crowley’s both Ballymaloe trained chefs will be preparing all meals during the weekend.

Our weekend menus will be vegetarian and will showcase seasonal, organic fruit and vegetables (whenever possible), paired with beautifully crafted local Cork made cheeses and yogurts. Calendar Coffee from Galway and Nicks Teas will go down a treat with Pop Crowleys Sourdough, jams and Baked goods at breakfast.

Hello!

My name is Hannah, founder of BÍOG. I am a movement practitioner and instructor based in West Kerry where I lead daily classes of Pilates, Barre, Dance,Yoga, Breath work, Meditation and Sound Healing in the coastal town of Dingle on the West coast of Ireland. I've built a kind community of people off all ages who have made low impact movement and somatic practices a part of their lives for the past 5 years.

I have been working globally as a movement instructor for over 10 years following multiple trainings and certifications in these practices during my travels in New York, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, Sydney, India and Dublin. My love and knowledge of somatic movement practices became an integral part of my life during my professional contemporary dance training.

I continually work with various populations in group/semi private and 1:1 sessions. All bodies abilities and ages including ; athletes, retirees, people with varying degrees of injuries and illnesses.My movement style of teaching is contemporary and very influenced from my eclectic training background. I make sure movement feels accessible to all, challenging but never feeling out of reach, always giving options to suit different bodies, abilities and energy levels.

Style of Classes

Pilates

I have been teaching Pilates full time for over ten years. Watching people connect and realign with their bodies, but also finding pure joy and freedom through movement.

I have a vast training background within pilates. Educated by different schools and methods in mat pilates, reformer pilates and barre. Trainings in working with specialised populations, injuries and conditions.

Expect morning Pilates classes to be energising and fun! Great upbeat playlists, a variety of props and creative flows. Challenging no matter what level but never too taxing.

Yoga

I have over 600hrs of accredited teacher training completed in varying styles and lineages and over 10 years teaching experience. There are many styles that you will see through my classes, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Katonah, Yin and Restorative.

Evening Yoga classes will be slow, restorative, stretchy and meditative with lots of emphasis on breath work.Yin, Katonah and restorative styles will be practiced here. Longer holds, slow flows, stillness and meditation.
